ADMISSION TO POST GRADUATE (M.Sc.) COURSES IN ALLED HEALTH SCIENCES - 2008, M.Pharm, PGCR and B.Sc. (MRT)

Applications are invited for admission to the following courses conducted t the Amrita School of Medicine, amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Health Care Campus, Kochi.

1. POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMMES IN ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES
Group - I
1 M.Sc MEDICAL ANATOMY (3 seats, 3 years)
Eligibility Criteria: First class in B.Sc. Zoology*

2 M.Sc MEDICAL BIOCHEMISTRY (4 seats, 3 years)
Eligibility Criteria: First Class in BSc.Microbiology, Bio Technology, Biochemistry, or MLT

3 M.Sc MEDICAL PHYSIOLOGY (4 seats, 3 years)
Eligibility Criteria: First class in B.Sc. Zoology*

4 M.Sc MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY (4 seats, 3 years)
Eligibility Criteria: First Class in B.Sc Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or MLT*

* Those who have passed MBBS, BDS, BHMS or BAMS can be considered for direct admission to second year.

Group - II
1 M.Sc DIALYSIS THERAPY (5 seats, 3years)
Eligibility Criteria: First Class in B.Sc Zoology or Allied Health Sciences or Nursing.

2 M.Sc in Cardio Vascular Technology (5 seats, 3 years plus 1 year internship)
Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc in any science subjects, preferably Physics.

3 M.Sc in Anesthesiology & Intensive Care Technology (6 seats, 3 years plus I year internship)
Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc First Class in any branches of science.

4 M.Sc in Neuro Electro physiology (2 seats, 3 years plus 1 year internship)
Eligibility Criteria: First Class in B.Sc. Physics or B.Sc .Allied Health Science

5 M.Sc DIABETES SCIENCES (2 seats, 3 years)
Eligibility Criteria: First Class in B. Sc. life science/ B.Sc. Nursing

6 M.Sc. MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY (M.S.c MLT) (9 seats, 2 years + 6 months Internship)
Eligibility Criteria: First class in B.Sc. MLT

7 M.Sc in Cardiac Perfusion Technology (5 seats, 3 years)
Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc in any science subjects, preferably Physics.

8 M.Sc ALLIED HEALTH SCIENES (PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT) (20 seats, 3 years)
Eligibility Criteria: First Class in B.Sc. Biochemistry, Chemistry, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology

9 P.G Diploma in Diabetes Education (10 seats, 2 year)
Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc life sciences / B.Sc Nursing

1 M.Sc MEDICAL INFORMATICS (5 seats, 2 years)
Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc in any field of Medical / Information technology

2 P.G. DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL INFORMATICS (5 seats, 1year)
Eligibility Criteria: B.Sc in any field of Medical / Information technology


Group - IV
1 M.Sc. Medical Statistics (5 seats, 2 years)
Eligibility Criteria: Undergraduate in Statistics / Mathematics with papers in Statistics


Group - V
1 B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology (15 seats, 4 years)
Eligibility Criteria: First Class 10 + 2 (Physics Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology)

2. PG Diploma in Clinical Research One year course
Eligibility: B.Bharm, B.Sc. Biotechnology, Allied Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Nursing, MBBS, BDS.

3. M.Pharm in Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy (Pharmacy Practice)
Eligibility: B.Pharm with not less than 50% marks for al the subjects second year to fourth year.
